Re: Delta plans to emerge a "smaller" carrier

We have made the de...

AA/UA/DL Drink & Meal Service

Curious if anyone has up-to-date info on drink and meal service on AA/UA/DL domestic & international, first/biz & economy?

Things appear to be the same as they were in March, and curious when F&B restrictions will be relaxed.

And that's pretty much it. LGA for spotters is boring unless you like seeing the same things over and over again.

I didn’t think PHX was possible from LGA?

Re: JFK T4A Expansion

In the Q&A of the recent Delta investors day conference it was brought up. Ed mentions that the build out (Term 4) will be complete and Term 2 will close. But no date given. It seems they should start soon if the entire rebuild of T1 is supposed to be complete by 2025 - which can only happen if...

JFK T4A Expansion

Curious if anyone has any insider information on the long overdue T4A expansion at JFK? Assume this pier will need to be extended before T2 can be demolished. And the new T1 can’t begin until T2 is gone. It’s weird T4A wasn’t a part of the last big PANYNJ announcement about the JFK redevelopment. Ma...

Re: 60 Minutes Australia special on 737max

A lot of people seem to think that Boeing can do no wrong and want to blame what happened on the pilots. The issue is that this plane had a system that the pilots had not even been told about, which was putting in control inputs in the background causing the plane to dive. They only had a few secon...

Re: When will DL consolidate JFK terminals?

I don't have the update you're looking for, but I'm thinking that with JFK talking about a major airfield redevelopment, Delta may have put their plans on hold, to see just what is and isn't on the table. Plus, Delta is spending BIG bucks to completely demolish their whole world down the street at ...

When will DL consolidate JFK terminals?

Know the JFK redevelopment topic has been discussed in-depth, but curious if anyone has any info of updates about Delta completing the final phase of T4 and extend the A concourse. Last update was that they’re “in discussions with the PANYNJ” and not ready to talk further.

Anyone have updates?

Re: United Airlines "Evolution" to Globe Livery released

You know the 737 NG's aren't the sexiest jets in the skies, yet the livery looks great on the first 738. Not sure how the new livery will look on stubby planes like the 737-700 and A319. I suspect the longer the fuselage, the better the new livery will look ...ie 77W's , 787-9 's and 10's and the 7...

Curious if UA will accelerate repainting, or if they’ll only repaint when aircraft go in for D checks / heavy maintenance. Oscar’s messaging has been consistent with the latter, but suspect they’ll eventually speed things up to have consistency across the entire fleet. Given the positive reaction t...

Re: Delta 321neo routes

It'd be nice to see DL put the A321neo on transcon JFK/BOS - LAX/SFO/SEA, but only if they created a dedicated subfleet with Delta One seating (similar to the old United PS). The 757/767's on the current routes are feeling a bit...dated.

Bummer - can’t wait to see the new livery on the 789 & 77W
