Would these possibly be for the likes of a FedEx or UPS? Or do they usually purchase the aircraft themselves and then have someone else convert them.
They each already have 757F but I don’t know the engine types or if that matters.

Why not? No restriction on doing it that I can think of, and it's probably because it's cheaper than in the U.S. Not to mention a parking-space-availability issue too..."desert" type locales or others with similar low humidity are going to fill up given the huge fleets of the US3! Where are all the Airlines here in the United States sending their planes? I know Delta sent some to BHM and BYH. Also when will regionals start parking planes and where?Jump to post
Delta looks to also be ferrying aircraft to Birmingham International Airport BHM 4x B763 2x B764 1x B772 3x A333 1x A339 2x A359 I don't know how to add the FR24 link but those are scheduled as of 2:00 P.M today. Delta is parking A339s and A350s? I guess so. They are scheduled to arrive in BHM tomo...Jump to post

So how many times will Delta let you change your flights without paying a change fee if your flights keep getting affected by COVID-19? I changed them once today because apparently my return flight on April 11th has been canceled so I changed it to a different time that day.Jump to post
What was the weather at the time? Single pilot jet ops need to end. It seems every few months we get another crash. A year or two ago a highly trained aerobatics pilot crashed his Citation near Atlanta. I don't understand why some pilots be can be so stubborn and stupid to think nothing bad will ha...Jump to post
Respectfully, while get-there-itis fits a lot of the information - it doesn’t seem to mesh with what was the last piece of known pilot interaction - which according to the NTSB was that the pilot was climbing to clear the fog (I don’t have the exact wording in front of me) In other words, and incre...Jump to post
So my understanding is he was following Highway 101 and then became disoriented or something was right, so the pilot initiated a 180 degree turn to follow Highway 101 back from where he came from but halfway though the turn they impacted the terrain belly first?Jump to post
Anybody have any clue what is going on with this flight tonight? It appears it took a strange approach into VPS and then made what appears to be 2 attempts at a landing before turning back to Atlanta. Is that kind of approach for VPS normal? I would guess not as the end goal is to be in VPS and not...Jump to post
What kind of construction can be expected this year? I noticed on Flightradar24 that there is a Delta Airbus A321 currently enroute from Los Angeles to Providence with flight # 8915. Does anyone have any idea as to what kind of charter this is or who the charter is for? Also is there like a certain flight number or flight number series assigned to eac...Jump to post
This suggests a new order (or LoI, MoU?) for 10 x MAX 7 and 10 x MAX 10: "The second deal, finalized by an unnamed customer, is for 10 MAX 7s and 10 MAX 10s, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed." https://aviationweek.com/commercial-aviation/boeing-books-commitments-50-maxs-3-787...Jump to post
Why did they think it was going to crash? Don’t we have enough drama in our lives with inventing more? I guess because we were very low to the ground and the bank angle was about 50-60 degrees each time. You were no where close to 50-60 degrees! You were 30 degrees at most. I’m honestly just taking...Jump to post
S-turns at the last minute are very common, especially at a busy airport, to create spacing between aircraft, rather than forcing a go-around. That must have been what it was, I didn’t think much of it, seemed pretty cool to me that we were doing it so low to the ground. Makes sense now. I honestly...Jump to post
Earlier today I was on a Delta Airlines Airbus A321 flying from St. Louis to Atlanta, GA. When coming in for landing in Atlanta, the pilot made several maneuvers that seemed like S turns right before landing, why would the pilot in command do such actions? I’ve never had that happen before. But we w...Jump to post
I flew into Memphis back on May 17th and it amazed me how high the fares were on American between Charlotte and Memphis. I ended up taking a $213 one stop (stopover in Dallas) one way ticket vs taking a $534 nonstop one way ticket. I thought that was outrageous.Jump to post
