    Why did Eastern fail? My guess would be the set of circumstances that preceded before they commenced operations, like tariffs and other economic factors. What happened, and did a similar thing happen to airline revivals like this, I.e. Pan Am II and III?

    Could St. Louis be a profitable hub for an airline? I would think not, as the presence of Southwest is very strong. There are some other airlines that operate out of there as well, but for a startup airline Southwest would be their main competitor. Thoughts?

    If you go to flight stats and look up your flights it provides average delays and cancellation stats. My biggest concern when connecting is to avoid the last flight of the day.     Great time to buy AAL... It would be expensive to do so. Plus, AA is pretty much too big to fail. Never say never, Pan Am, Eastern, Braniff, TWA come to mind. I wouldn’t ever be cocky about it. We’re talking about the worlds largest airline. I’m not a fan of American but you gotta consider the facts.
