Last year Boeing delivered 155 787s.
That gives a 12,9 monthly rate.
In 2018 it delivered a total of 145 frames which works out to a monthly rate of 12.
Clearly company PR is puffing up real production numbers. So for this year I would guesstimate actual deliveries to be around 120 for a rate of 10.

The current production rate is 14 not 12

Wasn't it supposed to drop to 12 this year?

Somehow I don't see them producing 144 787s this year.
Nor 120 frames in 2021.
And yes, THAT is what rates 12 and 10 actually mean.

In reality they are closing the base because they can operate its aircrafts and crews from other bases more profitably.
Also if the HAM-DUB route was profitable they would keep it with a DUB based aircraft operating it.

I would have thought the Paris market would be a higher priority than Memmingen due to the volume of traffic.
