...I don't see how they can survive too long with barely a dozen aircraft. They'll have to get a fairly sizeable fleet in order to offer good enough service, at least on the busy domestic routes. I think this is the reason why they aim to return back to the 30-airframe landmark as soon as possible....

No, I don't think this F-16 deal is going to happen. This has been rumored almost annualy since 2015 when Obama lifted the arms embargoes.

Looks like Bamboo will shrink its fleet to only just over 10 aircraft left.
And that's the best-case scenario if Bamboo will survive in the next 6 months.
It has started to cancel some domestic routes including HAN-PQC. I assume it's directly resulting from the sudden fleet downsizing.

Bamboo announced that it is (temporarily) suspending SIN/TPE/NRT and HAN-BKK until at least 2Q2024. Those routes are the next ones to become subject to Bamboo's formal free flight changing and full refund program.
