Delta Website Complete Overhaul

I apologize if I missed this somewhere else on the forum, but I just visited Delta.com for the first time in several days and noticed a completely redesigned website, which is primarily black ... so not what I would have expected and I’m not sure if I like it yet tbh. I was on the mobile version tho...

It looks like AA is finally making ORD-HNL year-round after many years of no service at all and then the recent seasonal operations. It’s also interesting to note that the route is being upgauged from a 788 to a 789.

Re: Chicago Aviation Thread - 2020

Question. My buddy and I are flying in from Denver and want to do some plane spotting. It looks like most of the heavies arrive / depart on 28R / 28C. Do you guys know of any great spots for us? Thanks. :)

What’s with AA’s ORD-SEA cuts? It’s going from 3 to 1.9 ... which really strikes me as odd. Is DL putting that much pressure on them with their recent addition of the route?

Re: United vs American, the old rivalry

The rivalry is most intense at ORD. There’s no doubt about it.

Re: AA Reports Q3 Results

Publicity wise, AA has stemmed the tide for now, but the media will soon turn. There is no indications that AA will start seeing financial results similar to its rivals anytime soon, and so I don’t really see them bouncing back in 2020. Taking management at its word that the financial results at DF...

This is bizarre. The 787’s are based at ORD, so you’d think a replacement aircraft wouldn’t have been hard to come by there ... so odd.

September 11, 2001 ... 18 Years Later. Never Forget!

Today marks the 18th anniversary of one of the darkest days in American History, September 11, 2001. This is for the flight attendant who bravely tended to her passengers before their hijacked aircraft slammed into the World Trade Center ~ For the wife who stopped on the stairs and called her husban...

Wait, two aircraft headed to ROW from ORD? I thought only one was scheduled into ORD from DFW (Flight 80)?

I took this photo at DFW earlier this month. I’m truly going to miss this plane. It was the plane I flew on most as a child and I credit it, in part, for kicking off my love of aviation.

Re: MINT and other Service Cuts to JetBlue, starting 9/1

Probably still better than flying AA ! United is far worse. I am loyal to AA and had no bad experiences so far this year. But at United, totally the opposite. I flew them twice this year after avoiding them for years and both times the staff was rude, for planes were dirty and worn and the device w...

For me it’s all about the inflight map. I can watch it for hours in the background. That’s what I’ll miss most.
