All that tells me that DL is desperate to increase capacity on so many of the routes getting 763s and 764s this summer, upgauging to the A330 where possible. Sure we do, which is why we are surprised that DL cut branded flying on that route. While the sky for DL at LAX isn’t falling by any means, this move does say rather loudly, “we are struggling to compete with OW and even UA on this route”.
