I don’t know when B6 takes on their next LR to begin BOS-LHR, but I would imagine UA wants to get a head start on bookings that might otherwise have gone to B6.

BOS likely won't get it again. BA will see more competition between BOS and LHR than ever, so the need for the plane really only happens if they also relinquish a frequency. And EK won't even go daily with a 77W, never mind an A380, because India is so weak.

What's your definition of "underwhelming"? Breeze will likely feel like a "big deal" to the cities it chooses to fly to, at least. But that's just it...the list of cities it initially chooses will be a very, very small one. It just doesn't have the planes or people to do anythin...

It could well be that no New England airport gets picked. This is the first list, and based on only a handful of aircraft. So the two have to match (meaning a short list at first).

I think the question is more is the travel industry ready for this. Many restaurants and hotels that are now experiencing more guests can't keep up with the demand because they laid off so many people. Previous employees have found other jobs or moved on and can't be replaced immediately. Who knows...

I don't like that the legacies ultra thin no space economy seats recline. They can damage your laptop and take up what little room you have. Also they recline so little who cares? When in the ultra tight new economy seats on UA and AA i definitely prefer the non-recline seats of Frontier. AA Oasis ...
