Re: Iberia unveils new uniforms

Definitely some hits and misses, but, overall very...nice. The uniforms for ground staff (the models with the athletic shoes?) look a bit nicer than what I've seen/expected.

Re: Rolls Royce 3.7 Meter dia. Engine

Re-engining a current aircraft...hopefully they'd do it well. I know it's often said that engine tech is what holds back development of new aircraft. But is it necessary to think of improving the A350 or 787 already? The other side of it is I guess GE, RR, et al. continue to advance capabilities as ...

Re: A220 seat comfort

On this forum there's got to be a seat guru (little s, little g) who recognizes the manufacturer and model of that coach seat. Then a secondary question: are most carriers actually using the seat pitch of the Airbus model, or are they cramming in more rows? That pitch already looks pretty tight. An...

Re: Cleveland Aviation Thread - 2020

My post submitted to the CLE Master Plan website: I truly hope this master plan really does become a workable plan. Despite inadequate leadership from the city and the airport management, the airport truly has done well with increased passenger numbers and lower fares. CLE has the potential to be a...

Re: Are you superstitious about flying?

I also usually at least touch near the door before walking onboard. And usually say a prayer as well. Some people may say they prefer to die doing something they love. No thanks!

Re: A350-900 with a twist...

This is great for A! The A350 is already a very capable plane. Glad to see they found a way to improve it further. However, I don't understand the span flex thing. Is there someone who can explain it for us non-aero engineering folk?

Re: Boeing NMA in doubt as customers push for all new 737MAX and 757 replacement

What should happen is they design a clean sheet 753-sized aircraft. Yes, the sweet spot has been around the Max-9/A321 size. But I feel that the real need is for a big narrowbody (220-240 as UA and DL have with the 753). It brings the weight efficiency needed versus a small widebody. I just don't th...
