Re: American Airlines at JFK

Does anyone have an update on AA at JFK. How many flights are going out of there and how are load factors there? It is a big terminal and I really hope AA is at least adding some things back. I will be there for a JFK-CLT flight soon, but I am wondering how it is doing right now. Currently, I have ...

Re: American Airlines Network Thread - 2020

Below is an article that provides one perspective of how the slot swap between AA and B6 could play out. I still find it interesting that AA wants to leverage B6's domestic routes to help feed AA's international network at JFK. PHL is just down the road. Instead of reducing gateways and simplifying...

Re: JetBlue makes LAX West Coast focus city

I agree. I think PHL transcon service suffers due to a combination of its location between D.C. and NYC, and AA's dominance in PHL keeping other legacies small there. I think B6 would have a chance at stealing some decently valuable traffic from AA given their better product (particularly if Mint c...

Re: JetBlue makes LAX West Coast focus city

Considering the recent buildup, I wouldn’t be surprised to see B6 give PHL a shot from LAX. With just AA as the only legacy (and NK/F9 with ULCC redeyes), I think they could easily slide in where VX/AS once stood. But I don’t think this would happen until the maintained some footing with the Florid...

This wont be a priority for a while the survival of Caribbean Airlines will be. The oil market has crashed and CAL's primary US and Canadian markets are closed. We really should be talking about Southwest. They have barely cut anything relative to the others, they are now 50% larger than next largest carrier (AA). Here are the carriers ranked by this week scheduled ASMs and their YOY % WN (23%) AA (70%) UA (84%) DL (84%) AS (76%) G4 (16%) B6 (85%) NK (91%)...

A lot of excitement here over what is essentially one niche flight to BLR. Let's not forget DL has already ended SEA-HKG, SEA-SIN, and SEA-KIX is wobbly.
