Re: AC YYZ-DOH Effective 15DEC20

There's clearly some sort of agreement that's forthcoming between AC and QR. The schedule corresponds with QR's main departure wave and a secondary arrival wave (the later, main, one wouldn't be workable ex-YYZ). Not sure if it will just be a simple interline or something more extensive. This is pr...

EgyptAir receive 12th (and last) A220

The last of EgyptAir’s original firm order for 12 A220-300s is currently on its delivery flights from TLS to CAI: https://fr24.com/MSR3330/25a1cafa (strange routing flying north from TLS to the UK coast and then turning towards Cairo). SU-GFI’s delivery is exactly a year after the airline received t...

Re: Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announces first destinations from AUH base

I've never been, so perhaps someone here knows? What's the fascination with HBE? Etihad offered it seasonal, now Air Arabia Abu Dhabi are starting it this week, and now Wizz Air are giving it a crack. I would've thought Wizz might try the all-inclusive resorts of SSH to differentiate themselves, bu...

Yes EgyptAir are relaunching Sharm El-Sheikh to London (albeit to Gatwick rather than Heathrow this time). The airline joins Enter Air, TUIfly and easyJet on the route. Re: Air Serbia (JU) Set for another major expansion in 2020

How are Cairo flights doing? The route sees a modest increase from 2 to 3 flights per week this summer. I just checked on their website and it shows two weekly flights to Cairo. Where did you see the third frequency? My error Blerg, JU remains at 2pw. I must of misread when noting that Air Malta an...

Uganda Airlines is the first carrier in Africa to fly the CRJ900 (currently operating 4 frames)

Nice TR. Just a minor correctIon but PAS of Egypt operate a fleet of 3 CRJ900 aircraft - first delivered in 2012.

Enter Air E46007 SP-ENV departed BHX to Sharm El-Sheikh this morning marking the return of air services between the UK and the Red Sea resort after a 4 year suspension. Enter Air will resume services from LGW (and MAN I believe) shortly.

TUI relaunches services to Sharm El-Sheikh from February 2020.

It seems like Go Air has consistently selected Kannur over Mangaluru for establishing flights from that area. In fact Go AIr has not even a single flight to Mangaluru, for which the only carriers are SpiceJet and Indigo which are enjoying their duopoly. I am surprised that AIr Asia didn’t try to ge...

I find it interesting that Jet2 has not reinstated flights to any Egyptian resort since suspending flights in March 2011. With the resurgence in UK traffic to the Red Sea, the lifting of UK flight restrictions to SSH and the demise of Thomas Cook, could Jet2 restart operations to Sharm El-Shiekh, Hu...
