Re: SWF airport--next gateway to NY metro area?

Didn’t Norwegian try this a few years ago? Making it a low cost gateway to NYC? Indeed they did, it worked pretty well until the MAX was grounded. DUB was up to twice daily. Yes, DUB had a daytime and night flight on the MAXes before the grounding. They also had flights to Belfast, Edinburgh, and B...

So for JetBlue and other airlines, is one entire metro area considered a crew base, or are crew assigned to one specific airport? Like let's say that JetBlue has one big base of the NYC metro area serving LGA, EWR, JFK or if like Air France had one big Paris crew base for both Orly and CDG?

A321XLR order could be used to pressure Boeing into making the long-rumored midsize aircraft.
A350s could be used to get a cheaper price on further 787s or even a 777X order

What if they merged Vueling and Level? With Norwegian not coming back to the transatlantic market and even worse, higher fares from the NYC area (where I'm at), I'd love another low-cost airline here. Plus, a Vueling A330 would look pretty cool.

1:400 is much much more detailed and common than 1:500, not to note the higher competition in the 1;400 market (Aeroclassics, Gemini, Phoenix, NG, JC, Panda, etc) vs 1:500 (basically Herpa).
