Re: Where to plane spot KSEA

Alternatively, if you're in the area, BFI or PAE might offer better viewing. The parking lots for both Museum of Flight (BFI) or Future of Flight (PAE) have excellent close-up views, just depends on which direction traffic is flowing (northbound is better at BFI, southbound at PAE). Only downside to...

The only 787-9 models out there I know of are made by Phoenix, but they're 1:400 scale and no Boeing house livery yet. I have the Qantas version and it's pretty nice.

Cool... thanks for the info WingedMigrator! The differences are much more apparent when you see them side by side like that on the A380. A32X - Subtle Differences In Main Landing Gear?

So while I understand this is a pretty nitpicky little detail, I've noticed that the main landing gear on A320-series aircraft seem to feature different "hub" configurations. I'm not talking about the optional double-bogie MLG featured on some Indian Airlines A320s, but rather the wheel hub itself. ...

I was confused by this article. It states that they hope to have 70 nice days to complete the project by early fall, ready for the first airplane to touch down on the runway in November 2008. Is that year a typo, or does it really take that long to get a runway certified?
