Re: Still no Asia service from CLT?

As a CLT citizen I would of course love to see it but the numbers just don’t support it. Personally as a citizen and airline pilot I’d love to see Paris year round and more secondary (Lisbon, Venice etc) before Asia. Europe may be helped by the arrival of the 321XLR if she has the legs for Paris or...

Re: Philadelphia Aviation Thread - 2020

Looks like AA has slashed PHL-CMN/DBV/TXL/FCO/VCE/BCN/KEF/MAN/EDI/PRG/BUD/ATH/CDG for the summer. No longer available on aa.com In other words, only LHR, ZRH, and MAD remain. For now. As they should. PHL isn’t the only airport taking a hit here. Every major one is. It’s gonna take a while.. for eve...

Re: Sky Team at PHL

every major city has its “main carrier”. Philadelphia is Big AA hub. Pretty much they have Europe covered with some tweaking here and there. You have to look at demand. Demand = revenue. What city has a demand and that isn’t covered by AA ? AA & BA have a total of 3 flights daily to Heathrow wit...

With the seeming unstoppable growth of Amazon, could an order for new freighters be in the works or do you think they will continue operating P2F airframes for the foreseeable future ?

Amazon (Bezos) can pretty much do whatever he wants.

Re: Philadelphia Aviation Thread - 2020

Just did quite a few dummy bookings almost all of AA’s transatlantic routes selling well. I chose multiple days of the week through July. It seems their secondary Europe routes work the best! I agree I did some dummy booking for CMN outbound In the past and seats are filling up nicely which is a aw...

No market for Australia in Philadelphia . I can’t see a demand for it.

AA also no aircraft that can fly it. PHL-SYD is longer than EWR-SIN.

Fact!

Re: Philadelphia Aviation Thread - 2020

PHL unfortunately has limited due to where it is located. However with that being said I still think you can shuffle some areas around and expand. First area is if possible to move FedEx Over to the UPS side ? That would free up space and you could possibly build another international terminal. Just...
