I think you are right. The whole issue between MP and KLM pilots is far from resolved. The potential A350 passenger order for KLM would indeed change the dynamic somewhat. Thats sneaky tbh. The 35L's are ringers in terms of capacity. I mean look at the number of seats in Y. I guess DL is now counting on an uptick in pax figures in certain routes for S23

KL's 744s were indeed true one of a kinds. Both the full pax and the combi versions. These planes were timecapsules from KL's heydays in the 70s 80s. The cabin fittings and onboard equipment were old but still fully functional when they were retired :old: Sad to see these blue birds gone too soon

Here is my 2 cents: DL will say goodbye to AMS and move to CDG. AA and UA is gonna fight over those slots B6 will eat up some significant TATL marketshare from all the established carriers coming to Europe 6E is also gonna be a big player coming out of India, by expanding their international flights

Not all KL 78X's are created equal. 5 out of the 8 planes currently operational are under financial lease. All the rest are/will be properly owned

Well...for one thing KL didnt 'buy' it. BKM was actually an earlier built airframe that was not part of the original KL order. Its owned by ALC to be leased to KL, but now its being returned to lessor

PH-BKM isn't mentioned anywhere in internal KLM information anymore it appears, so I suppose this lease has been cancelled by KLM. Interesting.
