Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

I'm guessing it will either sit hot reserve duty in AFW or I know that ATI has been doing maintenance work in AFW as well. Will be curious to see how long it stays in AFW. I was expecting it to go to ILN. N381AN in the air this afternoon (9/12/20) from TPA to AFW as flight ATN381. First flight under...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

N349CM isn’t going to ATI so Amerijet is probably correct. N381AN finished conformity for ATI but hasn’t been added to their Ops Specs yet. I was under the impression it was going to happen soon but guess that wasn’t so. I was surprised to see N479AZ listed at all since Amazon isn’t due another airc...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Hearing rumors that Amerijet will be operating planes for Amazon. Maybe the ultimate destination for the Amazon purchased planes... Will be interesting to see Amazon bring another 767 operator into the mix.

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Maybe it's going to be Jeff's new private jet. He's going to need to get between the two Amazon headquarters. Why not go in style and comfort. He did just become 80 billion dollars richer. Plus considering his public disputes with Trump..he can one up him and get a 767. ;)

I’m hearing that ATI will start SFO-ANC-ORD flights soon. So that would make two ANC flights.

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

So this might be a stupid question..but if Amazon are buying their own..are these five separate from the 12 that ATSG announced? Or could the 5 just be a part of the 12? An agreement where ATSG agrees to CMI on the 5 Amazon owned with the other 7 being an ACMI agreement? Is that possible? I know the...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Interesting that it appears that SCX is no longer doing the run to SJU. It’s only the Atlas flight out of MIA...from what I can tell. I guess I assumed that they would keep both routes. But I can see how that would be overkill. I’m hearing that ATI will be starting an ILN-AUS-SCK run. Seems to be th...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

N381AN is going to ATI any day now. I wonder if this will be like N360CM that bounced around the Amazon network in some obscure paint job until Amazon was ready for it. I noticed in pictures that N381AN had all the green covered up with gray when it came back from TLV. So I’d assume it’s going into ...

Looks like N431AZ is out of paint in ROW and on its way to ILN today. Should be delivered by Sept 1st..that just leaves N433AZ to go.

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

N313AZ has been having Leading Edge slat issues. My guess is it would have something to do with that. Maybe they had an issue on climb out and elected to return. Probably did a no flap landing..hence the fire department for hot brakes. ATN3402 from SEA to ANC just turned around after about 20 minute...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Something interesting...not sure how much it means. In the past, CAM has always reserved the Amazon Prime tail numbers through the FAA. While I was rummaging through there to see if any additional ones had been reserved for the 11 planes next year, I noticed that Amazon Services, LLC is now reservin...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Not sure if it was mentioned here...but N381AN is in TPA from TLV. Came over on 7/20. It wasn’t one of the 5 originally planned for Amazon this year. TPA seems to be able to pump them out quickly. Any idea where she is going?

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

I guess what struck me as odd is that they are marked “stored” on the other website. Usually if they are just doing Mx they aren’t marked that way. I’ve seen the planes that are transitioning to Amazon or other carriers be categorized that way which got me wondering. Or it could simply be an error. ...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Any idea what ABX/CAM is doing with 363CM and 364CM? I’m assuming they could easily be moved to Amazon/ATI. Would be two pretty much ready to go planes...just need some paint. They have already been on the ATI certificate before. Maybe ATSG is going after more international DHL contracts? It’s for D...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Amerijet has been operating a flight in and out of SMF. It’s a PHL-SMF-PHL run. I heard they were doing USPS. Maybe the ramp lead was mistaken? A ramp lead in SMF mentioned to me that ATI’s flights for Amazon out of there are carrying USPS mail. Did I miss something or has that been announced? Hadn'...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

So N544LA is on its way to TLV this morning, 4/11/20. Nonstop ILN-TLV. That makes 8 aircraft there in various stages of conversion. I do expect that one will fly back with this ferry crew, leaving 7. Assuming N153DL? It seems to be the one with the most activity as of lately. Maybe 304CM? One or th...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Do you know whether there is an aircraft in conversion at MEX now, given that N544LA is done and sent to ILN? (Only took 2.66 months!) I have no idea regarding the MEX site and their output, under 3 months sounds very very fast for a conversion, my hunch is a heavy check rather than conversion. So ...

ATSGs earnings today said they are still planning on 4 airplanes this year for Amazon plus three more for UPS. The incoming CEO said that they plan to have all of the incoming feed stock spoken for. I guess its anyone's guess as to how many if any of them will be spoken for by Amazon. Does anyone kn...
