I know i've asked this in the past, but why do we have ZERO nonstop PIT-NAU service? Even on a charter! CLE has season to NAU i believe, yet we have nothing. I miss the days of taking nonstop charters to Aruba, etc... Sad what we are left with now.

Personally I am a BIG fan of Spirit. When I fly on them, i always opt for the "Big Front Seat" when possible. I don't go out of my way to fly on them, but when my options are a nice non-stop on Spirit or a connecting flight on a major, I will take Spirit anyday.

I believe it was in June of 1995 when PITORD was cut. The last schedule before they dropped it, they were running 2x SF3s!!! Looks like PIT-ORD had two Fokker 100 and one Eagle ATR-72 at April 30, 1995 - then 4x ERJ-145s begin May 20, 1999. The thought of doing PIT-ORD on an ATR-72 or a Saab 340 so...

Upon hearing the news of Frontier buying Spirit, I think it is safe to say (based on history) that PIT will have even less options now. Frontier loves to cut PIT, so anything we currently have on NK will soon be gone. Let's keep giving Mrs. C these huge bonuses though!
