I have no idea. Been stored for years, but its 35 years old. There is probably a better, more young airframe, but then again, age doesn't matter that much, so I guess this may or may not come back.

An-74, Carvair, Christmas Bullet, A380, A310, C-46 Commando, Brabazon, Saunders-Roe Princess, Tu-114 are ugly to me

Contrary to the opinion of many on this thread, I think the 757/767, 737, MD-80, and DC-8-73 are really good looking.

Not for Samaritan's Purse, but a DC-8-63 is being readied for a ferry flight out of YIP for a heavy check in OSC after not flying for ~9 years. N865F supposedly will be joining a couple more DC-8's for Part 125 cargo ops. I think 2020 has bizarre enough that we might actually see a few 50+ year old...

The problem with those charts is that it's far too broad and differs. For instance maybe Frontier puts nearly 180 pax on their A320's and at what weight vs a 160 seat A320 etc. What type of paint and how much does it weight etc? So what is on wikipedia won't give you an accurate number by any means...

Was she a doctor or a nurse? I'm sure the captain knew all about it. Why would that one incident turn your family vacation into a "nightmare"? The 'nightmare' was just an exaggeration. I don't know whether she was doctor or nurse, since my parents prevented me from speaking to the captain.

We humans come in all shapes and sizes. I feel true compassion for Flight Attendants, Police Officers, Hotel Front Desk Clerks, Grocery Store Checkout Clerks, Gate Agents, etc. Yep, same here. Most US customers say that those people treat customers like trash, but I think it's the other way around.

I don't think they have had non-ETOPS widebodies in years. DL's now retired domestic 763s had ETOPS as they were used for Hawaii flights. AA's Domestic 3-Cabin 762s also had ETOPS as they were occasionally used as Hawaii-subs ex LAX. UA domestic HD 763s/772s also were used for Hawaii and had ETOPS....

Ok, if you were old enough to remember, DL announced in 2008-ish times that they'd start flights to Luanda and Nairobi, as well as Cape Town. All 3 were eventually cancelled or pulled, but as you may know, Delta added Cape Town again. Luanda, I'd understand, because it is kinda close to South Africa...
