Re: Past five years on this website

I think that most of the problems involving bad behavior from people on here stems from the Non-Av section. I've seen many threads where people complain about their thread being locked and then making a big fuss about it in the thread, addressing the moderators, rather than PMing or emailing them. I...

Another worthy thing to mention, there's 2 ex-DL MD-90s that were acquired by Boeing after their retirement and many were speculating that they will become testbeds. In fact, I think I made a thread about it earlier where we guess what Boeing'll do with them... https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewto...

Up until 2013, American probably had the oldest without changing as they had the red, white, & blue stripes on the polished metal skin. They only developed a new livery because of the introduction of aircraft with composite structures such as A320 family and the 787. The polished metal debuted ...

Mcdonnell Douglas planes are tanks. They have a long lives ahead of them. Easily, the MD-11Fs, DC-10 tankers, and a handful (maybe 30-40) MD-80s'll remain. Obviously, the DC-8 and DC-9'll continue in small amounts in places where their performance is absolutely crucial and unmatched. I do have one (...
