Re: Lufthansa Group Fleet Thread - 2020

But another question: I heard a rumor, that D-ABVP will leave LH because they found a buyer for it. Anyone with insights of whom that might be?

Re: Lufthansa Group Fleet Thread - 2020

There is a photo on instagram if you search #747lufthansa of D-ABYF a B748 parked without any engines on it. Seems abnormal for storage? Anyone know a good reason it’s like this or is something more sinister afoot? Quite normal to remove the engine and preserve it elsewhere especially if the plane ...

Re: The Smell of Airline Cabins

If you have a job directly at the aircraft and you are always one of the first persons there when the door opens you can tell where the flight is coming from, just because of the different smell patterns. After some time of "daily practice". And just to mention: There ist NOTHING that matc...

Re: BER News and Discussion Thread

Just as a side note: The new BER is farther away for our politicians than TXL. So they keep the Helicopters in TXL for our proud leaders, because these better thinking persons cannot afford the travel to BER in matter of time. And these are the people that tell you to reduce and change your travels ...

Re: Updated: Majority of LH Shareholders are Voting for Rescue Package

Oh dear... There are no strikes on the horizon for the next years. Maybe there will be some protests of people loosing their job. But for the majority of LH, the unions are just making the collective agreements. And they will last for the next 4 years. Minimum. And everyone at LH should know that th...

Re: Updated: Majority of LH Shareholders are Voting for Rescue Package

I thought the deal would not happen, but it did. And it is just great for over 100.000 people still having a job after Friday. And with some "bold" predictions: Go on looking in glass balls, but never forget that there are always a lot of people, a lot of families, that rely on their jobs....

Re: Lufthansa Group: 10B EUR bailout - Update

If you listen carefully what LH Management has said these days, they know the deal with Germany will not happen, because Mr. Thiele will block it. All their internal communication is to get their employees ready for the unthinkable. And do not talk about the unions. They are just as ignorant and arr...

Re: First LH B747-400 to retire this week

D-ABVO did NOT have its D4-Check. It was planned to have it done, but that was cancelled due to COVID and the retirement of the A/C. It was just parked all that long months in PEK...
