RE: Manila Airport Hotels

I don't know if it's open at night, but there's a pretty nice airport lounge that can be accessed for something like 20 USD per person. It's got beds, free food, and a living area. Pretty nice.

RE: BA Muffin "theft" Results In Suspension

I can't be sure whose side to take on this issue. Though the food is all inventoried, I can't understand why everybody is up in knots about a muffin. The tone of the article leads me to believe that there will be a strike at some point in time by the BA fli...

Where Are The US Carriers In Guam?

I just read an article in one of Guam's magazines where they interviewed the business and financial consultant at the airport here, and he was talking about the airport expansion here, and after several pages of outlining the project, he began talking about new US and foreign carriers coming here. C...

RE: Best Economy Class Over The Pond (American)

I fly CO a lot, and my experiences with them are very good. They've got good food in economy, and PTVs (I guess that's standard nowadays). As you said, you're flying on the 777, so you might get the AVOD...seems nice, though I haven't used it. Tr...

Duty-Free Carts-Should They Get Rid Of Them?

Basically, the title says it all: Why should we have duty-free carts on international flights? First, it irritates me that an airline that is already making you pay a lot of money for airline ticket would have the nerve to try to sell something that nobody should ever have during any flight. A prime...

RE: How Do You Tell A F/A To Be Quiet!

If they're really obnoxious, tell them. But, try to put yourself in their shoes. The nicest thing to do would probably be to ask them to take their conversation to the rear galley. If it's not that bad, ignore it. I once had an F/A who kept thinking that these two women sitting next to me were my gi...

How is Airbus going to pull this one off? They got their work cut out for them. Where's Emirates going to fly 110 A380s anyway?

Does Anyone Know About Guam Airport Expansion

Lately I have seen a lot of publicity about an expansion of Guam's airport facilities. This mostly involves runway expansion, security strengthening, and a buildup of cargo facilities. I have heard a little bit about commercial routes coming in, but would like to get some more information. With the ...

Will CO Ever Update Their Aircraft?

In the past few months, I have noticed a lot of airlines deciding to change cabin interiors to where they have PTVs and other amenities available on short-haul flights (i.e, Delta). Others (i.e, JetBlue) already have this technology. However, Continental seems to want to stick with their older inter...
