Re: Lufthansa Group Fleet Thread - 2021

Absolutely. Very nice that its coming back for two or three years. My all-time favorite airliner, and the type I flew most on longhaul. Absolutely not. One of the ugliest airliners in existence. Disproportionate, noisy and rattly. Not happy it is coming back but for the sole reason it means more tr...

Re: Air Canada News And Discussion Thread - 2021

Is there any movement on re-activating the 77L fleet? I think the winter schedule has some 77L’s on LHR, HKG and SYD routes, but they are still at VCV with no movement that I could see on FR24. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t ever come back, especially if there is cargo conversati...

Looks like Delta is getting serious about the vaccine. Brings a real number to what unvaccinated people cost companies. The MAX has been back in service for 6 months. I have not seen anything in the media about Pax refusing to fly on it. It seems as though the 2 previous crashes have been forgotten here in the U.S. Is this because COVID and unruly passengers have become the focus of flying concerns? In the case of C...

This order makes sense. Mainline economics, fewer airlines, core hubs in core markets driving the aircraft gauge up. The small difference in variable ops cost for the A320/738 vs 739/7310/A321 (and +1 FA) are overcome by the ability to sell more seats. The sub 150 seat segment of the 737/A319 gave ...
