I found a dunlop add showing it in white already in 1965 tho
From this website with tons of french press report and adds on concorde https://le-pointu.aviatechno.net/images ... &dir=8&n=0
Hello, something I noticed when I look at artwork or desktop models from before 1968 is they all seem to display metal belly and wings, I haven't seen any entirely white concorde from this period, so if someone know, can you please tell me when white was considered for the whole aircraft, not just t...

Jump to postIt's been a while I haven't posted update here, here's what my heller concorde currently look like, I intend to use paint from another company than revell for airbrush metal because I had a sprinkle effect. https://i.servimg.com/u/f38/20/32/47/80/dsc_7216.jpg https://i.servimg.com/u/f38/20/32/47/80/...
Jump to postHello, while looking at a french report on Onera research regarding concorde and its successor, I saw a picture page 5 showing the different configuration studied and I wonder if the fuselage diameter isn't different to the normal concorde. I'm tempted to use the airfix vintage kit for more than one...
Jump to postDidn't knew they got that far to reduce the weight, I know concorde didn't had a low fuel consumption and the polemics over its price in france or Jean-Jacques Servan-Schreiber.
Jump to postI knew about the cargo idea, different door configuration where on the prototype/pre production aircraft too. I'm tempted to do mine as a leased plane from transairbail international.with more seats (maybe).
Jump to postThere were ideas for more pax, would more than 128 mean removing galley?
Jump to postOk, this french article from 1968 uses the 132 figure https://cap-avenir-concorde.fr/les-doss ... l-concorde
So no differences with the windows arrangement, thanks!
Hello, I wonder how externally different it'd be from the normal serial production concorde, more windows? Different doors? I'm tempted to do this one in model using a revell or airfix kit.
Thanks for your answers!
so some airlines took the option to do that. Btw, I got the revell model last week, if you want, I can send pic of what the revell part look like.

Jump to postLooking at pics from produced tu 144D, I noticed some of them use slightly different police for their numbers, CCCP-77112 is different from 77110 per example, I wonder why, aeroflot changed branding while they were produced? Jump to postHello, I'd like to know more about this part, revell show it as part 18 in step 2 of the manual who can be found here https://www.scalemates.com/fr/kits/reve ... 00--103543
Thanks for your answers!
Aeroflot didn't used all of them too, the one from sinsheim doesn't seem to have been used by them, yet it still had the livery. There were negociation to allow it to fly over europe but considering the rules that were put in place (and flying over the US would be a big no for all SST's).
Jump to postHello, I know negociation were taking place to allow the tu 144 to fly over europe but I'm not sure wich road were considered during the negociation.
Thanks for your answers!
On the BA union flag for concorde, do we have concept of it or not? I wonder how hard some of them could be done using mask tape
Jump to postThere were ideas to fly it to japan/over europe, but it seems it relied to the plane being improved and from "concorde-Histoire d'un mythe", the negociation to allow concorde flying over the ussr started in 1974 and the russian asked about their plane being allowed to fly there too.
Jump to postI know, I think if I do a what if tu 144S, it'll be as a joint operation with another airline like JAL. I'm guessing this would necessitate the autorization of the concorde and boeing SST to fly over the ussr since JAL had option for both.
Jump to postThe difference of tech is I think one of the arguments against the idea the tu 144is a concorde plagiat, the wing shape is quite different too and they had to redesign it(also seing them side by side helped showing how different they are). I wonder if they wouldn't start a service with jal and they ...
Jump to postDo we know when the IL 62' stopped carying the JAL/KLM logo?
Jump to postok, so it's a might or might not for the livery depending of how strong the cooperation is.
Jump to postWhat's the OEM? So if tupolev could get the autorization to fly tu 144 to japan, they'd have a hybrid livery (with the possibility of using both variants to go to japan?). Btw, I went inside a tu 144 at sinsheim, it was a good visit and interesting to spot the differences between it and concorde.
Jump to postI know there were projects/idea of roads outisde the USSR for him such as japan but I'm not sure wich airlines outside aeroflot were thought to be potential customers by tupolev
Jump to postso only aeroflot would get them, I wonder how much tupolev expected to sell, surely less than a 100.
Jump to postIt seem they based it on a farnborough model, not sur if I can post the pics here since it's alamy.
Jump to postIt was proposed as an option but I don't have any concept for the upper deck one

Hello, I know there was one, revell decided to put one on their A380 cutaway and I've seen drawing showing it as an option, I wonder if airbus ever released concept of it because so far, I haven't found anything and don't know what revell used to do their. The revell cutaway kit boxart showing the c...
Jump to postTupolev was interested by concorde, but at the same time is it really plagiarism if the final product is quite different ? The wing design being modified on the tupolev shows they were different.
Jump to postThe result of my visit at sinsheim, managed to get in both concorde and tu 144 without fearing high but I was still cautious because they're both inclined.. The concorde will be based on a british airways travel agent model in the landor livery a bit different from the real one since the BA name is ...
Jump to postHello, while tupolev showed interest in the concorde and both look vaguely similar, when I looked the details of both planes at sinsheim yesterday, they were quite different, the interior design was different between the 2, as well as the wing shape (I think the fact the wing had to be modified beca...
Jump to postHello, I'll be honest, whenever I see a reviewer saying they want to make their reviews unbiased(or as unbiased as possible), I think it's impossible since, no matter if their review aren't sponsored by the airlines, it'll still be biased, their report being influenced by their own taste, standard, ...
Jump to postI agree with sam chui when he say the skytracks (and the other) ratings are subjective, I wonder why they had 5 stars while equivalent airlines sometimes didn't.
Jump to postThe progress I did on the concorde this week. While the airbrush worked well on one side, the other, it spitted and I had to clean it. Tried it again on the underside and it worked this time. I did the other side well today and I'm going to go for another layer on the underside https://i.servimg.com/...
Jump to postHello, I'm asking because when I look for period artwork or pan am desktop models from the time, I often see variation between the liveries, the flag will be in different position or no "pan am" on the wing and I haven't found yet a artwork who correspond to the revell livery (For mine, my...

Jump to postHello, while looking for a revell boeing 767 300 ER with this livery, I looked for information on the airline and it ran from 2003 to 2007 and operated 6 767 300. Jump to postHello, by curiosity, if the Tu 144 was more successful and the ussr decided to export it, would they allow it to be sold to the western airlines or only to the warsaw pact one?
Thanks for your answers and sorry for my absence, I know it's been a while.
still progressing on my concorde, I'm done sanding the putty sooner than I expected, now it's time to go for the raised cheatline and air france flag
It's been so long since I haven't posted an update, so here's one. Jump to postHello, did they expected more airlines to get thier plane or the customer airlines getting more after their first order? Jump to postMy point is that it's not lazy, the concept show they worked on it and clearly spend time and effort on the livery, I don't get how you can't get my point, are you going to say air france livery is the same because it's eurowhite despite the amount of work that went in the rebrand?
Jump to postit's not a bad thing, and sorry but its not lazyness, people who dislike eurowhite should really stop with this one for me, I'll give lufthansa and air france as example, lufthansa did lots of concept for their livery with diferent color, same with air france when they did their 1975 rebrand, here a ...
Jump to postI don't agree with the idea they are similar or that eurowhite is dull, I think it make the aircraft look cleaner and I'd not say air france eurowhite is the same as lufthansa or that lufthansa is the same as LOT because of difference in color, name and tail
Jump to postah I see the tradition of disliking new liveries is respected (sorry but that's how I feel whenever I see thread of new liveries, people will often hate them). Do we even have a pic of the livery ?
