RE: WestJet Pulls Out Of Windsor, Ont.

Selling Windsor as Detriot would be impossible. Unless there were some way of putting people through customs and transporting them across the border without contact with the outside world. London makes sense, since it's more central to the region and (I believe) a larger city. I'm sure that, when th...

RE: What Not To Bring Through Cleveland TSA Security.

WD-40 is a common spray-on lubricant. It's an aerosol (compressed gas) and a fire hazard. Also, don't pack steel-toed boots in your checked luggage. That was the only thing in my bag that could have been mis-interpreted as anything last time I flew, and it was hand-searched both ways. If I thought a...

This would probably be more appropriate in the Tech/Ops forum. That said, the likelihood of a failure at altitude which would allow time for people to put on their parachutes, shuffle to the door, and eject from the aircraft is very low. Also, you must consider that, assuming they can stabilize the ...

Just a thought: On some aircraft (I know older 737-200s), if you dump something down a lavatory sink (say, the flight's last pot of coffee), it comes out a hole on the underside of the aircraft. It is possible there was a small fuel leak that trickled or misted along the aircraft's fuselage to where...

It depends on the type of airline you're operating. If you operate a short-haul, domestic-only fleet, having one and only one fleet type is probably a good idea (re: Southwest).
