Found a picture in a -100 where we were burning 680/side at 11,000 ft in cruise. Up that 100 or so for a -300. 87.8% torque which would have been 96 in a -300 at that temp/altitude.

Isnt a raft required over 50 miles off shore? Bermuda is a bit more involved, an HF radio is required at least. I've flown a couple of airplanes where you kick out the crab as the wheels touch. There's honestly not much to it, you just use your feet to gently align the centerline of the airplane with the centerline of the runway.

It could be an issue on a radial engine. Because of the gearing and length of the propeller being a lever arm, you have a lot of mechanical advantage. If the cylinder is full of oil, then you could end of applying a lot of force against a hydraulically locked cylinder and end up bending something. ...
