If you're running under Windows get hold of DVD Shrink (stick it into Google) - it's free. You can then rip certain parts of the DVD with the "re-author" option - it's a piece of piss. Once ripped and you have your Video_TS folder you can encode to Mpeg (or anything else you like i.e .m4v for iPhone...

Am I right in thinking that UK Citizens must hold a valid Passport to enter France and it can't be done under the Schengen Agreement (to which the UK isn't part of) with a ID Card?
