Re: How to find Tail Number from old Flight Thread

Hi, I am looking for a couple of very important flights, and I would be very appreciative if someone could help me find them.

QF21 (SYD-NRT) - 19/02/2003
QF168 (NRT-CNS-BNE) - 26/02/2003, second leg 27/02/2003
NZ139 (AKL-BNE) - 29/09/2005

I really hope someone out there has any information! :)

How sure are you that this is a 747-400? I think at that point in history, Qantas used the 747-300 on the MEL-AKL-LAX route, with the 747-400s mostly flying direct out of Sydney and Brisbane.

Re: Feeling nostalgic about 747s. Who’s have you flown?

I don't have much to add, all but one of mine have been the -400/-400ER. They were truly a fantastic aircraft. Qantas: SYD-NRT (still trying to find the flight number for this) Qantas (or possibly JAL): NRT-BNE (no flight number again) Lufthansa: SIN-FRA (LH779), 747-430 Lufthansa: FRA-KIX (LH740), ...

Re: What new airlines can we expect to Brisbane?

\ How about SQ and BR? I think you are missing those 2 star alliance carriers. Sorry, I forgot about EVA. I didn't include SQ as I think they're only operating cargo flights now (I think), but you're right they are a scheduled Star Alliance member into BNE. Do/did the JQ 787s fly into KIX? I though...

Re: How to find Tail Number from old Flight Thread

Hi, I'm looking for the registration that operated SQ236 on the 2nd of October 2003 (and some other flights I included a couple of posts up). I believe the SQ flight was opby a Boeing 777-212ER and it took off in the morning, but otherwise I have no information and would love to know the registratio...

Re: What new airlines can we expect to Brisbane?

I think UA might be a chance, with TG out, our only Star Alliance airline in BNE is ANZ. There's also lots of UA equipment around the International terminal such as ULDs. I can definitely see JAL trying to wedge back in permanently, and if Qantas re-launches NRT flights, JAL could easily restart JL7...

Re: How to find tail number from old flight?

That's great, thanks a ton! Out of curiosity, where did you look these up? I used FlightEra.net to look these up, but lots of flight radars have data going back that far. It gets a bit tricky when you start looking at flights older than mid-2017, because that's when FlightEra and many other radars ...

Hi, I found some older flights that I went on when I was a baby, could anyone please help me out? I would be super appreciative. Unfortunately I don't have very much info as I'm just going off passport stamps and what airlines my parents said I flew. - Qantas (BNE-SYD), 19/02/2003 - Qantas (SYD-NRT)...

Right, I realize planes aren't usually tied to specific routes, but did Northwest fly the Boeing 747-400 anywhere else out of JFK.

I'm not sure sorry, I'm from Australia and was under 10 years old when they merged with Delta.

Re: How to find tail number from old flight?

Copy. I guess the plane sits at JFK all day, then, given that it arrives 10 minutes after NWA17 departs. It’ll probably be more like “Plane A operates 17 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Plane B operates 17 on Tuesday and 18 on Wednesday. Plane C operates 17 on Wednesday and 18 on Thursday, etc. etc.”,...

Re: How to find tail number from old flight?

Unfortunately, we didn't fly Northwest 18 on the return, as we flew Continental 8 to EWR in August of that year. I don't know what date that would have been, though. Thanks for the attempt. He’s not saying you flew NWA18, he’s saying the plane that operated NWA17 must’ve come back to JFK as NWA18, ...

Thank you very much, just two more if you feel like it: - QF2406 (BNE-EMD), 04/04/2016 - Could you also please find out what flights VH-LQG did on 10/07/2016? I have ...

Re: Where to find a 737-600

I had a quick look and I couldn't see anywhere saying WestJet retired their 737-600s. They definitely stored them, and I think they removed them from the schedules, but I don't think they've actually said "we won't fly these planes again". The -600 can fly further, land shorter, and seat f...

How to find old flights

Hi, I've recently started a mission to find all the registrations I've flown over the years. I've managed to find 83 of my previous registrations so far (not bad considering I only started researching them a month ago), and I used a lot of websites such as ACARSD.org, OpenSky-Network.org, FR24, AirF...
