so I'm supposed to fly GRU-MEX in April and I just noticed that the aircraft got switched from a 787-9 to a 767...WHY?!?!? I thought they were removing the 767 from international service after late march!! has the 767 schedule been extended?
Jump to postjust wondering if they're starting it because QR has been talking about starting MEX but needed a European stop and they were thinking of using FCO. So by AM serving it first, they might feel entitled to complain and have the Mexican govt block QR from doing so.
Jump to postLH 1ST is on its way! Looking forward to the arrival pics in FRA.

I wonder if passengers will be able to use the APM-to-terminal connectors to go from the south terminals (T4-8) to the north terminals (T1-3). I hope that during pre-planning, LAX thought about using those connectors as pedestrian terminal transfers, as well. That way passengers do not have to walk ...

I can only see the route has been (again) postponed until December, but not officially canceled?
great pics! I would have guessed IB would have served more food on that MAD-TLV foute considering the flight time. Meal looks similar to what I had when I flew MUC-MAD. anyway, It's such a peeve of mine when airlines serve fruit or yogurt as dessert. AT least serve from fro-yo or ice cream or a meag...

Removing names and statues and trying to erase names from history is what communist countries do. I'm not the biggest fan of naming airports after people either because once one does it then so many others stumble over themselves to do the same thing. removing statues does not mean history is being...

Jump to postAeromexico has been AWFUL with refunds. I hope they start issuing refunds before the DOT goes after them.
Jump to postAny idea why AM was not included in this JV? Just curious
On the trans-atl side, you see UA and AC team up. Makes me wonder why DL would not include AM, an airline they have a stake in.
this thread made me wonder how small cities like TRC and DGO have service from at least one of the US3 and/or AM to the US yet others like CUL barely have any n/s service to the US
Jump to postoverall, i like the refresh but the rhapsody blue wavy cheatline looks a little odd. It would have been nice if the cheatline had the color gradient the tail has to tie it in all together.
Jump to postAre there any progress pics/vids of the MSC? I remember the new TBIT used to have a site which tons of progress pics. I was able to find them easily through the old LAX site. I have no idea how to find them through the new site
any news about this?
I thought i last read that the AMLO govt was able to come to an agreement to purchase the new airport's debt bonds.

Boeing pitched the "SkyLoft/Suites" on the 747-8is a while back to very little interest for airlines. This would have added usable space above the mid-rear economy cabin. This extra structure can get heavy and thus affect aircraft performance targets. https://www.flightglobal.com/news/arti...
Jump to postone good sized Mexican city that lacks consistent service to the US is CUL. I wonder why any of the US3, especially AA, don't fly there.
I think Volaris might be only offering CUL-PHX/LAX a couple times a week.

i agree with user above that yellow doesn't fit with this modified livery. I still think they could have added a minor tweak to make it look a bit different and less generic.
