Ed, What's with the blur around the sun? That can't be from the exhaust IMO. Look's like a compression effect to me. Nice shot BTW. Adjusting levels can be done in any photo editor. But it is best to learn to read the situation while you are shooting, not correcting aftwerwards. Although you may like the neutral colour cast, it is not what it looks like in reality. The lamps give orange light, and not white as Tim and Wietses first shot suggest.
Your 737 shots look more realistic than the first ones.

I use a Nikon Coolscan <acronym title="Fuijan Airlines (China)">IV</acronym> for all my pictures at A.net The are scans from Fuji Provia slidefilm. All older pictures are from Sensia slide films. Do they compare to high end digital? It depends. Mostly digital pictures blow away my results on screen....
