Not all one-ways are more expensive than a roundtrip. On AirTran all fares are one-way and no Saturday night stay is required! So two one-way tickets equals a round trip, and it all depends on how far in advance you book!

From what I have been told....the 717-300 or any derivative is NOT being considered anymore!!! I would LOVE to see a 717-300ER...but it's just not feasible in the timeframe that CEO Joe Leonard is looking at. He wants new planes very soon... Regards, Kevin AirTran Airways MDW Customer Service Rep.

First off, do not forget that today, AirTran announced a $10.7 Million dollar yearly profit!!!
