N660UA will be going to HKG in the next few weeks for its Polaris 2 class conversion. The same as the first 763 builds no PP. These aircraft will be the first 763 builds to be retired by 2022. EWR is not great but it’s not as bad as many other airports around the USA. That’s not saying much though. For all the downsides of EWR, atleast you don’t have to worry about remote stand deplaning or boarding like I always seem to get in FRA or Dubai.

A lot of the guys I fly with on the 57 out on the west coast tell stories of a -400 base in EWR back in maybe mid 90’s. I never knew that until hearing from the guys that actually flew it.

The other issue is that some 753 aircraft are shown as 752 on Flight Aware. Currently there are 7 flights enroute that show 752 on Flight Aware, but are being operated by 753s on UA.com. I always turn CH9 on when I fly a 57/67 that is equipped with it. I grew up listening to it when my mom was working for United so it’s the least I can do for the customers on my flights.
