I posted this info last week.
1 looks ok to me
2 looks like you might have used a wide angle lens, hense the poles not looking straight
3 runs downhill from left to right
4 I agree with the screener - it's about the aircraft not the people who make them work.
Since I'm no expert on the subject of digital watermarking I will let someone who knows answer. My question was poised to all, but since UK Trading Standards don't seem too interested and the police probably have speeders to chase after, since the police in the UK only seem interested if you are spe...Jump to post
This is the most recent email I have received from a fellow aviation photographer who has been trying to get a guy shutdown who has been taking out pictures, changing the backgrounds then selling them as his own limited edition prints. 'I have had a long chat with the London Trading Standards office...Jump to post
We I have contacted eBay before they have always been completely not interested. I have always been told to contact the seller and sort out my problem. I always get the impression that as long as someone is paying eBay the fees it is due it doesn't care about theft and people getting ripped off. On ...Jump to post
Just cos it's digital doesn't mean it will be in the database. I have rejected a lot of pictures from SXM for being low quality, motiv, distance etc... please don't think it will be accepted ju...Jump to post
The biggest problem with SXM is people prefer to see the beach. The greatest photo in the world would only get a handful of views if it didn't show the beach, go look for yourself beach shots g...Jump to post

Can someone check this out for me please. I noticed that on http://www.travelcitydirect.com/ in the Fly Jumbo section they have 3 pictures of 747's in their make believe colour scheme. However I think the last 2 are

<font color...Jump to post
Why won't you accept my photos, they are much better than ones I have seen on your site recently. "I'm a/I have a friend who is a" pro photographer and "they say/my" pictures are very high quality, so why have you rejected them? (Delete as app) Some people upload crap then complain when it's rejecte...Jump to post
But define interesting? I'd rather see a variety of new ideas in aircraft photography but not a lowering in quality. Remember there is still MyAviation.net for all these shots that you all want added but don't make the grade. And please be careful with topics like these. Hopefully one day you might ...Jump to post
Problem with banners is the number of emails we get asking because airline X has a new Fokker 50 in a bland all white paint scheme and could we add a banner cos it's a new aircraft. If the aircraft is newsworthy then send an email to the screeners with the name and email address you used when you up...Jump to post
Both of the resized photo's look fine but it depends what the other screeners think.
Green card lottery doesn't apply to UK citizens unless you were born in Northern Ireland, cos for some stupid reason that's viewed as a different country.
Is this going to become another 'complain about the screeners' topic? The biggest difference I can see between what happened to you and the person with the HUGE upload recently is that he uploaded different pictures of different aircraft and not just lots of pictures of the same aircraft. If you tak...Jump to post
I have a 20gb drive in mine but the most I go out for is a weekend. If you only have 1 CF card I'd recommend another CF card so you don't miss anything while you wait 20 minutes for the card to download to the drive. The X-Drive Pro does run as an mp3 player and also has a proper display so you can ...Jump to post
Er... no, but it's not very heavy even with the weight of the case added that's for sure! I wouldn't be surprised if the laptop hard drive that goes in it weighed more than the X-Drive on it's own. Keeping an open eye out should help all of us and yes please don't condem them without some sort of proof. Previous doesn't mean they have done it this time. Don't take this the wrong way but I am always trying new things to try and make my pictures look better. Maybe you should experiment with new settings and remember that every picture might require slight changes in these settings.
What do you scan the slides with?
Guys just because it's new doesn't mean that we are going to drop the standards to the point where we will accept anything. The fact that it is new and therefore rare does mean that we will lower the standards but there has to be a limit. On http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=XA-...Jump to post
