RE: Photo Theft Solution

Hi kas

Of course it also finds matches from your uploads to a.net, flickr, and any other website you upload to.

Best to choose to ignore certain sites, that takes care of many of the matches in one single go.

Nice to see some have signed up! A tip from my side (also explained on their website I think) -Focus on photos that may be used as stock images. Photo Theft Solution

Hi All, I have been away from the forums for some time, but would like to share my experience in handling photo theft. Ever since I started publishing my photos to airliners.net I have been struggling with image theft. In the early days I would sometimes receive an email from a fellow a.net photogra...

I think there will always be a certain " arrogance" implied in whatever the screeners write. After all the very fact that you are a screener means that you get to decide (along with a few collegues) what is ok for a.net and what isnt. Poor is maybe not the best choice of words but it only means " po...

Just hide the comments when browsing the pics, that will take care of the hit seeking comments and 500 word comments some people write to describe just about anything in the photo

The hobby is not dead but there is no growth. There are no new (or very few) entrants to the hobby I think and the fact that Kodachrome is over doesnt exactly help the situation either. Dust becomes more visible with high apertures. At F22 you will see every tiny speck. These seem very small and I think most cameras will have a few of these that will be tough to get rid off. Personally I wouldnt worry about it

There are a few creative/different pics on here but very few. I'm sure the airport offers much more than that. I can understand though th...

Think that from the many artsy shots we have seen lately it's clear that we allow deviation from the rules when the shot works. Think our rules in the rejection guide reflect that to an extent
