I don't think you people read properly. It says the 800s would go with the Eastern colors. Swift has no 800s. So that means exactly nothing but that the existing Eastern planes are not being repainted. Don't get too excited. That is how I read it also. It sounds to me like the current Eastern 800's...

I have spent many years on here listening to people bash PHL for any and all reasons imaginable, all the while signing it's death warrant. All I can say is that, so far the rumors of PHL's death have been greatly exaggerated. With that history in mind, I will take a wait and see attitude.

If they did start painting them as of Dec 9th, Would they have to put the "operated by" sticker on the plane until they operate under one certificate? Also is the New paint scheme carved in cement, or will parker change it again?

Power is still out in terminal "A East" this morning . A record 8.02 inches of rain fell yesterday knocking out power to the terminal. All American Airlines flights for this morning (until noon) 7/29 are cancelled, as several utility tunnels flooded.
