Why don't airlines use the 2-4-3 configuration? Obviously that would be the prefference of choice. Would it be a weight and balance issue with more pax on one side of the aircraft?

Agreed. However, the last two times I flew CO 72 it had the full BissFirst. But everytime I've flown CO 2 it was configured in the Micronesia version.

As an hopeful Continental employee after I graduate from the Univ. of Oklahoma, I sure hope the airlines don't merge. And if they do, God help us that Continental remains the parent. First thing Continental should do if they merge, dump the Eurobuses.

A side note about Houston and its economy.

Even though the airport is becoming known as a major hub (especially to Latin and South America), over 43 percent of Bush Intercontinental travellers are from Houston, aka, non-connecting paxs.

You have to remember the boarding time begins earlier than departure (up to 1 hour). So depending on the airline and aircraft, your connection time is actually less than three hours.
