How's the runway work at BLZ (Blantyre) going? Wasn't it supposed to reopen to jet aircraft on July 24?

Westray to Papa Westray is about as far as it is practical to operate an electric airliner. Anything much longer and the weight of batteries will make it prohibitive.

That photo of the aeroplane's metal toilet reminds me of some railways station toilets in Melbourne, Australia, neighbourhoods not exactly known for their lack of crime at night (except for the cleanliness and lack of graffiti).

Antrak Air (Ghana) Online Booking

How reliable is Antrak Air's online booking system. I'm travelling to Ghana later in the year and need a return flight Accra-Tamale on Antrak. I can either ask a reliable contact in Ghana to buy it for me and reimburse him when I get there, or book it myself online. Which is the better option?

It's GSM phones which you will hear interference from. CDMA, as noted by Fly2HMO above, and 3G (UMTS) phones will not notmally produce any audible interference, but that doesn't mean they won't affect instruments.

Well, what's going to happen in Greenland when their Dash-7's get too old? They have plenty of 800-900m runways, it's very hilly/rocky, very little flat land, and impractical/expensive to build longer runways in most places (must blast through a lot of rock).
