Re: AA adds CLT - BZN, JAC, MTJ

I am Jackson Hole based and it is really impressive to see how much AA has grown here. From one seasonal DFW flight a day a few years ago to multiple daily DFW year round plus LAX, ORD, LGA, BOS and CLT. I would not be surprised to see PHX-JAC return too. Looking further, it appears AA dropped the ...

Re: Alaska Airlines Network Thread 2020

Alaska/Horizon previously served Jackson Hole (JAC) from SEA with a stop in Bozeman (BZN). I believe If I remember correctly this was with the Dornier 328 in the mid to late 90s. The flight cross connected in Bozeman with the Northwest departure to MSP when they code shared. It was fairly short lived.

Alaska will begin utilizing A319/320 aircraft into BIL, BZN and MSO beginning May 21. BZN and MSO will be two of the four daily flights in each market and BIL will be one of the two daily flights. Montana continues to see strong growth.

All very true but the ATL-BOI/BZN/GEG are selling indefinitely through the current selling schedule in November. I don't think WN has the right equipment to serve BZN. Too many seats on the 737 to make BZN work profitably. An airplane like the A220 would be perfect on a route like DEN-BZN at about 100-110 seats but I don't see WN going down that road. WN has the same size equipment as all the airlines flying ...
