I flew VY for the first time in a while today. 4 check in desks open and no queues which was great. Swissport have some new staff who are fresh and enthusiastic which is great to see . Security fast track was a bit slower with every 4th or 5th bag being pulled out for secondary checks when I passed ...Jump to post
Seems that Air Canada are axing some of their DUB-YVR-DUB flights for this Summer. That's a shame - any further details on this? Maybe a route EI could look at in the future. If DUB has a capacity issue with up to three flights using a remote stand for refueling, then there's an even bigger issue. And if Aer Lingus is threatened by a third world carrier that does not even plan to operate a consistent daily 5th freedom service, then there's also a problem. In fact, there...Jump to post

The LBA - BHD was due to take off at 15:55 actually took off at 20:40 only to be diverted to DUB.
Guessing the dodgy weather is kicking in at BFS maybe. We currently have multiple EZYs, a Jet2 from LPA in the hold and a poor wee LJ45 from BQH that's been running round the racetrack endlessly. U2839 from LGW has given up and is heading "elsewhere" at this time. There also EZY from LPL,...Jump to post

Worth noting that EI DUB-LHR is up to 14x daily this Summer so don’t see an appetite from EI to dilute this with an LCY service. All eggs seem to be firmly in the LHR basket now.
