Don’t forget that EC261 will get you cash refund if flying inside 2wks of the flight cancelation by the airline I think that with the difficulties airlines are facing due to the Covid-19 and restrictions imposed by governments, EC261 is the least of their worries. EI no longer employ cleaners for their aircraft. They rely on the crew collecting in any rubbish before landing. The crew do a quick security check after disembarkation but they are not given any time to clean. Indeed they are not able to as they do not have the supplies to do so (extra bags, glove...

I flew the B772 LHR HND last year. It was subbed for a B77W! I was a bit annoyed as I was looking forward to flying a newer a/c. It was very dated on the inside, but once I settled in I had a great flight. The IFE was ok, and I even managed an hour or two sleep.

I also love that breakfast and treated myself to it last year heading to Spain for the year. I also agree with the waste...it was difficult trying to fit it on thee exit row table but like you I had no one beside me! Next mission is... macaroni cheese pie haha. Nice report, the lighting is cool

Ah tis yourself. Cool flight. I liked the LATAM 787 but I hate the feeling that the windows are lying to me with this hue! Food looks great. I loved that they have those amazing toilets in the plane... so you get Japaned even before you get to the airport hahah.

Nice memories - I did this flight in January last year on CC-BGB. I bid for the upgrade, which was cheaper than my EI flight back to DUB later that evening. I really enjoyed the Velázquez Lounge in MAD...my first time ever in J (hopefully not the last).

Great stuff, I really like the SCAT livery. Xi’an airport seems like a pleasnat surprise. And the scenery looked magnificent. Although the people without headphones would have driven me mad!

-DUZ is my favourite EI A330 because she has the same name as me "Aoife"! This is a jaunt I would love to do one day. Was it bumpy during take off? Lucky you got out during Ophelia and indeed tragic that 3 people have died.
