Moxy would be perfect for TTN, with its A220, it can utilize the 6006' runway and go to the destinations that F9 cannot (anything west of MSP and in the south MSY). Couldn’t get a tail number but on my way home there was a G4 MD-80 departing MDT for SFB.
Shortly thereafter, the airports FB page announced with a picture of the plane at the gate it was the last MD flight for Harrisburg on G4.

MDT seems to get routes that ABE gets. FLL would be the next add in following that sequence.

Years ago it was simply two flights in the evening to MEM and IND, back the next morning and sit all day. Same with UPS, one flight to SDF. Quite a bit has changed in recent years, probably not lack of cargo, if anything more cargo. Christmas time sees a 744 for UPS.

F9 extension has MDT-RDU/DEN ending early November, MCO staying at 3x weekly. Would have been nice to see DEN remain thru the holidays. Biggest complaints I’m hearing from people are only being twice weekly and seasonal. We will see if either city comes back next spring.

Harrisburg (MDT) has a crew base and maintenance base for Piedmont airlines (For AA)). They currently fly MDT-PHL and MDT-BOS. In September they will be rotating aircraft thru CLT also.

Good news for MDT. Service on F9 begins in July, 3x weekly to MCO, 2x weekly to Denver and 2x weekly to RDU (!). Not sure whether these are seasonal or not, but MDT-RDU will be rough in the winter. It looks like Piedmont will still have a maintenance base at MDT for the E145’s.
I personally didn’t mind flying the Dash’s. Seemed to have a little more room than the CRJ.
Also UA does not appear to be flying the Q200 anymore from MDT-IAD.

My neighbor was hired a year ago by Delta, based out of New York as a first officer on MD-88's. As the New York base winds down the MD flying,he said he was going to go to the 757/767 line as a F/O rather than promote to MD captain. He wants more experience before being in the left seat.
