RE: Anybody Using The Canon 135mm F/2?

I've often wondered how this lens and a 2x converter would work. It would have to be a third party <acronym title="Air Tanzania">TC</acronym> since this one is not compatable with the Canon <acronym title="Air Tanzania">TC</acronym>'s. It'd be 270 f/4! These prime lenses are super sharp and since <a...

The "D" version is definitely better. It has better coatings to reduce CA, especially out close to 400mm. It's also a rear focusing model so it focuses faster and filters don't rotate (really important with CP's). IQ is pretty good for the money. Keep it up around f/8 especially at the long end for ...

On a crop sensor camera, rule #1 for me for long (200mm +) un-stabilized glass is focal length X 2 for MINIMUM shutter speed. Probably need to bump ISO to 200-400 in the daytime, or even 800 on cloudy or overcast days. Keep aperture around f/8 for sharpness and depth of field. A monopod helps keep t...

Thanks guys,

The problem with the stripes gets worse the smaller I make it. If I go down to 1024 the stripes get jaggy right away. I'm kind of at a loss for how to avoid that. Anybody else got any help for that issue?
