HA has discontinued LIH-OAK until December 2023. Hopefully this is due to the A321NEO issues (OGG-LAS is suspended month of august too) LIH-OAK will completely suspended beginning Sept. 6 because of the GTF issues. This is depressing. The Q400s entering service was a sign of hope, but if they've been losing money for 4 straight years, it doesn't sound good (albeit not surprising.)

WP is basically the only thing standing between HA and complete and total control of the interisland air market right now.

Hawaii doesn't have any executive aircraft for the Governor, although (IMO) there's a case for one. David Ige normally flies HA, and uses the Hawaii Air National Guard in emergencies.
