There were a few years that Massachusetts statistically had the highest accident rate per capita in the US. We in NH call them "Massholes"...most of them have no idea what a directional signal is. But, when they get pulled over by the cops all of...Jump to post
There were plenty of rumors that the Red Sox were pursuing Pettitte but I knew that wouldn't work out. I read an interview earlier this year that Pettitte really wanted to go back to Texas to be closer to his family. I may be incorrect but I believe the Astros are in the <acronym title="Shaheen Air ...Jump to post
Qatar just played Boeing to get a better deal out of Airbus. I know it will never happen but the next time Boeing is approached by Qatar I would publicly tell them to go screw... Then we will all see how great of a deal that Airbus gives them and how much their "cost savings" are. Of course there is...Jump to post
I'm not sure. Bloomberg TV had this as an alert on the bottom of the screen in bright orange. It read "Qatar Airways announces $3B Airbus order". I just saw it a few minutes ago. I've checked Qatar's website, the Dubai Airshow's website, Bloomberg'...Jump to post
My apologies if this has already been discussed (I looked but couldn't find it). Bloomberg TV just announced that Qatar Airlines announced a $3B Airbus order. I'm trying to find a link to the announcement. I assume this was announced at the Dubai A...Jump to post
Nope... The truth doesn't hurt; your argument is way off. I simply think that Google should not be forcing their political agenda on people. There is nothing you could say that would make me believe that a human being did not program into Google's computers to bring up the white house page when some...Jump to post

I've discovered that even the best of DSLR's don''t make up for inexperience. I am fortunate to have a father who is a pro photography (i.e. he makes his living at it) and I have access to some great gear. About ten years ago Car and Driver magazine published an article called "How to drive". It offended a lot of people but it spoke the truth. I think it should be mandatory reading for anyone with a license. Getting a license is far too easy in this country and no politician has the guts to toughen th...Jump to post
I think the 712 or 713 would be a great fit for WN. It's a viable concept and the 712 is available now whereas the 190 production line will be tied up for years with the JetBlue order.Jump to post
I have priced quite a few vacation packages from USAirwaysvacations.com and they are extremely expensive. Yes, I too would like to Lockheed back in the commercial arena but that won't happen. The L1011 is my favorite of all time.
The L10's are maintenance hogs and there are more efficient airplanes out there.
BTW, what is an airstart, as mentioned in a previous reply?
I was there yesterday as a matter of fact. At the end of runway 24 there is the Triangle Mall. That is by far the best place to spot at the airport but unfortunately that runway isn't in use much. They've made a lot of changes to the roads at the south end of the airport which are not friendly to sp...Jump to post
What a great thing for the president to do. I'm glad to hear on the news that it really boosted the morale of our troops. I'm happy that they were able to pull this off because AF1 would have been a huge target for terrorists. This was a wonderful move by the president.Jump to post

Indianguy's post is flame bait... let's show our maturity and leave it alone. I am happy to hear that Boeing is starting to think of a 737 replacement. Yes, the 737 is a very successful airplane, but I'd like to see something new. If the plane they are considering starts at 125 seats I wonder what t...Jump to post

I don't think it's a failure but rather a victim of the economy. It has a lot going for it. Aside from the economy, I find it hard to believe that more airlines haven't purchased it. I look forward to trips in the 717. I hope Star purchases the 713 as that would be a huge boost for the program. I ag...Jump to post
I'm not trying to start an A v. B war but even Airbus supporters have to admit that this article is very much one-sided towards Airbus. Yes they bring up a few counterpoints to the A380 but for the most part I interpreted it as another piece of Airbus propaganda. And before you all flame me, no I'm ...Jump to post
