Re: WN Selects DEN Over BNA/HOU (for What???)

Which again, if that is the case, why was BNA even in the running when WN doesn’t even have a crew base there yet. Since SWA was nudging all three communities for an economic incentive to base flight crews in one of those cities, perhaps they were considering opening a BNA base if Nashville power b...

Re: WN Selects DEN Over BNA/HOU (for What???)

While the article doesn't clearly state what Denver won, I think both the headline and a quote deep in the piece give a plausible answer. (It sure doesn't say much about the quality of the writing when the reader needs to piece together substance from clues buried in the paragraphs.) Headline: Confi...

The original master plan has room for two more east-west runways - one south of Pena Boulevard and one to the north of the current runway 8-26. It looks like some parking lots and maintenance buildings have gone up on the land earmarked for the southernmost east-west runway, though. [/quote] No str...

I would think there are some cruise lines dictating the NAP service. As for those 2 flight attendants worrying about hotels: Unless you are very senior, the UA FA's will get these routes. But don't worry, OMA, TUL, and BIS will be open for junior and will be for a long time.. If an earlier post was...

One thing that a few people here don't seem to realise is that for the British, Irish and other non-Scandinavians, Norwegian is a leisure airline. hence why I was puzzled about having somewhere like Denver as a destination. I say non-Scandinavians because due to the local network is designed for bu...

Purely anecdotal, but SFO-SIN two days ago had a butt in every seat and was within 60 lbs. of maximum takeoff weight. Flight time: 15:14. And the 787-9 was a champ on climb out: made to fly!!
