Yes they must have been talking about the Baro Vnav, Thanks for explaining it. It makes sense now.
The only time I use the Vnav is for reminding me about a crossing restriction or while landing on a runway with no approach guidance.
Somewone told me that the white star VNAV on the CRJ depends on temperature. Is that true? If so how does it work?
Thanks
Yeah I talked with them a few months back and they seemed nice. I still have the recruiters email. I just have to decide if Im feeling up to learning a new plane and leaving second year pay at my current airline. When I spoke with them they made it sound like <acronym title="OLD: Denver - Stapleton ...

Ok somone told me that the ERJ did not give descent angles. I guess they were wrong.
Its also good to see that chart holder, looks like a good idea

I'm thinking of leaving my current CRJ job and going to Republic and gettign the <acronym title="OLD: Denver - Stapleton International (DEN / KDEN) (closed), USA - Colorado AND CURRENT: Denver - International (DEN / KDEN), ...
Jump to postYeah thats kinda what happens on the CRJ and probably other jets only full deflection will put the spoiler up.
Jump to postAs far as daily limits its 8 hours between rest if you are flying 121, as a flight instructor its 8 hours, and i have no idea about 135.
Jump to postMy guess is the same, It must have been a crosswind takeoff. How many spoilers did you see up?
In light crosswind takeoffs, I try not to add too much aileron to try and avoid spoileron deployment
Yeah I did it before too when we were in a hurry one time in JFK
Jump to postI flew one of the Comair ones a few days back ( I thought we only had one) anyway I think I'm a fan now of the colors even though I disliked them at first.
