Yes they must have been talking about the Baro Vnav, Thanks for explaining it. It makes sense now.
The only time I use the Vnav is for reminding me about a crossing restriction or while landing on a runway with no approach guidance.

Somewone told me that the white star VNAV on the CRJ depends on temperature. Is that true? If so how does it work?

As far as daily limits its 8 hours between rest if you are flying 121, as a flight instructor its 8 hours, and i have no idea about 135.

My guess is the same, It must have been a crosswind takeoff. How many spoilers did you see up?
In light crosswind takeoffs, I try not to add too much aileron to try and avoid spoileron deployment

We live in a condo and the car limit is two, we have four and park the other two in guest parking which is never used. So once in a while people complain. We don't really care though.
