Re: When was your last MD-80 flight and how was it?

Yesterday I flew on an AA MD-80 from Milwaukee to Dallas, just so I could fly on an AA MD-80 before they're gone. For some reason, I was given Platinum Pro status for 3 months, so I was upgraded to first class. Apparently, the plane hadn't been cleaned after the inbound flight, because there were us...

It wasn't that long ago that Delta bought up nearly all the MD-90s in the world and completely refurbished them. That seems like such a waste if they are already planning to retire them.

Re: Inefficient Aircraft Layouts

To change the thought on this a bit from how you cram seats into an airplane, to how you on-board and off-board people, the 757-300 takes the cake. While The airplane is fantastic and is very economical, it takes longer to board and deplane that airplane than a 777. I know that because I fly them. ...

DL Orders Shades Down for Taxi and Takeoff

On August 13th I flew on a Delta MD-90 from El Paso to Atlanta. The aircraft had just come in from Atlanta, and the cabin temperature upon boarding was very comfortable.
