Since i haven't seen a video on youtube about this yet go viral with bad airline crew behavior I am waiting for Delta and/or Skywest to release a statement. Its more fun to go over to the Buffalo Airways hanger at YZF. All the historic but working aircraft are a much better variety then the AC and WS Q400s/736 types. You can support their merchandise operation and maybe get a tour of the hanger.

YEG is at $30 CAD for AIF and doesn't help airfares in Canada. For Ryanair and Spirit style fares that would double the fare on something like YEG-YXX. I agree with the SEA-NRT on UA being the non-rev express. That was always the backup plan when trying to get home from asia. As long as you can get to NRT to connect to the UA flight you would be fine and really didn't need to check loads. SEA-HND on DL became that after it launched as well.

YQB-YUL is taken care of nicely with VIA Rail. Its one of the very few markets in Canada where you can use rail travel instead of plane travel as the time is about the same factoring in all the waiting at airports.
