It's an ADSL USB modem. It's not my house, I'm only living here for six months, so I don't want to massively adjust their setup. This is the easiest way to do it without spending a fortune on cables, modems etc. which I would do if I were living here longer. I realise it will rely on the Windows box...

PS: We tried plugging the MacBook directly into the Windows box via Ethernet and then sharing, and that didn't help, still got Error 1061. So it must be something to do with the way things are set up in Windows.

It's always worth taking it in, since it's a free consultation.

Make sure you're using it on a flat surface (ie not on your lap, on a bed, on a fabric surface or anything like that) and that the area beneath the case is well ventilated.

There are several ways to run Windows, and all are pretty darn easy  Smile

I think the point is that we need some sort of marque or symbol, rather than the heavy and unprintable logo we have online. Theoretically, though, you could just use the AIRLINERS.NET wording to good effect.

Obviously, I haven't given my prospective employer my present employer as a reference yet, but I get on very well with my current managers (we are a small team), so I would hope they would be willing to provide a kind reference.
