KAL011 Today 7/19/04 What's Going On?

I was randomly tracking a flight it was KAL011 it looked like it did a u-turn about a 5th of the way across the pacific, then it disappeared from the flight tracker.
Anyone know what might have happened?

His tail number was N248ND, I'm sure you guys have flown that one at least once. Can someone post pictures of that? I head it is upside down and all messed up, I guess the guy was thrown 50 ft from the aircraft.

I also liked the old format better. I used to look at the page very regularly just to check what was being discussed at the current moment. I think it stimulates more discussion on the site. Just a thought.

They had a flight about that price but it departs around 6:00am. The sun country departs around 9:00am. Thanks for the advice.. Didn't really know how prices were for those cities.

All I can find is 167.00 on Sun Country. Is this a good deal or should I wait for it to go down more for a trip on Aug 1st.

Yes you can usually transfer up to 15,000 miles to a single person. Just go on their web page at it will tell you all about it.
