Thanks for the reply Steve - I tried unchecking "ICC Profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1" and it actually save the purple in the image. If I open that file in any program it's now purple.

If you plan to do this - also plan on the tide. From the shores of Burlingame, the Bay seems to be extremely shallow and when the tide is out, you can see mud and seaweed several hundred feet from shore.
